This Privacy Policy describes how Lawrence Pumps, Inc. (“LPI”) collects and uses information through www.lawrencepumps.com (the “Site”) including its pump selector link to Engineered Software Inc. (ESI) through their ePUMP-FLO software.
What information does LPI collect from users of the Site?
Prior to registration, LPI does not collect information that personally identifies you. LPI may use cookies (described below) to compile statistical data concerning web site usage and to track use of the Site from a particular computer. In order to access parts of this Site and use some of the services provided, you must complete a registration form. During registration, LPI collects information that personally identifies you. How does LPI use and share my Personal Information?
LPI uses your Personal Information to operate the Site and to store information about use of the Site. When you register to use the pump selection features through www.lawrencepumps.com, ESI stores your registration information in a database. This information is made available solely to LPI. When you select a particular pump, ESI will note which pump or part you selected and will make your Personal Information available via a database to LPI of that pump or part.
LPI also collects Personal Information from registration forms that are completed for newsletter subscriptions and the like. LPI uses this information soley for its own marketing purposes. In some geographical regions LPI has an agreement with an independent sales firm (REP FIRM) to promote our products and provide local service to our customers. Personal Information is provided by LPI to the REP FIRM to assist it with its sales promotion work.
In each case . LPI or the REP FIRM may then contact you to follow up on your interest in LPI, and may contact you with other marketing or promotional materials.
We also store and disclose Personal Information as allowed or required by applicable law or when deemed advisable in LPI’s discretion.
