The Aftermarket Sales Engineer position is a pivotal interface between the company and its customers who are seeking repair / rebuild / testing services
or product upgrades & enhancements, as well as dealing with warranty issues. In this role you will take the lead in evaluating the scope required to fulfill the
customer’s specifications, prepare cost estimates, release materials for procurement, monitor job status, and complete all tasks necessary for on time delivery to customer specifications.
This is a challenging position which requires an individual with excellent communication skills, who is able to work in a fast paced environment, and utilize problem solving skills.
The ideal candidate will possess the disciplines required for detailed engineering work combined with a flair for sales skills as needed to interface with customers and to anticipate their needs and recommend upgrades for their equipment to maximize the sales of service and spare parts.
This position will report to the Aftermarket Manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred)
- 5+ years relevant pump or rotating equipment experience
- Customer and Sales Support experience
- Sales and negotiating skills
- Skills to manage customer relationships
- Comfortable with Microsoft Suite and other computer software systems

The Design Engineer reviews and accumulates information and engineering data required for the mechanical design of new product, or the redesign and modification of existing product to suit customer requirements, new applications, as well as product upgrades and enhancements.
Primary Responsibilities:
- 3D CAD layouts.
- Perform bearing and mechanical load calculations.
- Perform pressure vessel calculations in accordance with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section VIII.
- Select and specify existing pump parts and assemblies.
- Specify sealing devices, drivers, and auxiliary equipment.
- Generate assembly, installation, test and operating instructions.
- Complete various data sheets.
- Compute Bills of Materials.
- Generate manufacturing and testing requirements, and follow through to completion of the project.
- Coordinate and manage related ECN's, rework, etc.
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in rotating equipment design preferred.
- Hands-on experience or familiarity with items listed below are a plus:
- API 610 & 682
- ASME B & PVC Sections V & VII
- Hydraulic Institute Standards
- ISO 13709
- Proficiency with 3D CAD software is required: UG, Pro-E, Solid Edge preferred.
- Experience with chemical plants or Oil Refineries is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.

The Project Engineer reviews a variety of pump purchase orders to determine the customer’s requirements and either implements the design of new products or improves the design of existing products to ensure that there will be total technical compliance.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Coordinate and manage the engineering component of complex projects to a fixed budget and deadline.
- Reconcile the LPI proposal with the customer’s purchase order, specifications, and requirements.
- Compile design information, complete design worksheets and provide instructions to product designers.
- Provide direction and assistance to departments involved in the project.
- Write procurement specifications for major buy out items and service manuals.
- Participate in the evaluation and approval of performance test results.
- Review the work of designers for quality, technical judgment, soundness of decisions and compliance with specifications.
- Coordinate and manage related ECN's, rework, etc.
