Other Materials

• Does not corrode in low PH environments



• Excellent erosion resistance. 9.7 on Moh's hardness scale.



• Cost comparable to other pumps



• Operating costs are lower due to superior pump efficiency that does not rapidly degrade due to the products superior wear and corrosion resistance



• Delivery of pumps and parts is very reliable because we do not use third party suppliers for casting the SICcast parts.



• Impellers are made entirely of the SICcast material.



• All wetted pump surfaces are SICcast.

Hard Iron

• Corrodes rapidly with PH levels below 3.0
• Susceptible to Chloride attack
• A very good metal for erosion resistance, but still only about half the hardness of SIC

Rubber Linings

• Cannot be used on impellers generating more that 150 feet TDH per stage
• The base metal is highly susceptible to erosion and corrosion if any part of the lining becomes separated or torn

Duplex Steel

• Best corrosion resistance of the metals, but can be susceptible to stress corrosion cracking.
• Erosion problems in abrasive environments
